for such a long time your soul's immersed trapped in these dark crystal walls of your mad, meaningless era take your time to see, lead your eyes the right direction realise which space you're in from the outside a caged civilization trapped behind these crystal walls if it only could be saved it would shine more than our sun i wanna break in, i wanna break in and save you from their lies i wanna break in, i wanna break in dispell this grey and rescue all the colours from your past

Abyss 05:30
praying safer into the dreams i'm alive and have no fear they're in my heart, dreams don't hide in cold fire, so we trust it's so easy to climb in dreams it's so hard to get high and so easy to descend sleep is drugging me climb in dreams the ground is calling me climb in dreams abyss i thought you were one of them i thought you were made of them but you're not in my heart no longer you were immortal essence immortal god but you have disappeared it's so difficult to get high here in hell it's so difficult to climb and so easy to descend sleep is drugging me climb in dreams the ground is calling me climb in dreams abyss

Inside 05:19
inside why do we exist why do we live it's so cold outside outside it's such a shame to get here and die i don't wanna wake up now i don't wanna wake up now taste my violence and fly teach me how to drink the stars break the symmetry and cry this is how you reach the sky i don't wanna wake up now i don't wanna wake up now pregnant women filling the universe world wars and traffic moving the planet i've asked a question but nobody answers me is that because they don't want to tell the truth?
4.
Up in a tower i wait up in a tower i mourn but i'm not alone in this cave together we buried our love far away hand to hand we live our separate lives there's steam in the windows, it's cold outside trapped and confined we watch the sun the rays bathe our skin but we're getting paler this is our reign of love this is our kingdom of longing I try to break the wall I need to touch what's outside behind this heroism your hands shine we are so far away sitting next to you i'm connected to an unreal world come, come with me into my dream you have to taste this new life this is our reign of love this is our kingdom of longing I try to reach your heart I need to touch what's inside aiming for the way out aiming for the way out dreaming keeps me tied up dream's experience with a complete meaning no frustration in it. no pain, just gain. real life's mirror of your countless struggles infinite cobweb of rewardless fight. Dragons, banshees, demons and monsters fight them all, they fall, just use your skill and courage Dungeons, parties, raids and adventures who needs real life? come embrace this world of madness oh, the other side is calling, calling us oh, revealing us the magic of these sparks Let's go and harvest all the white Harvest the winter 'cause it's all we have This is life's end This is life's end Autumn's consuming, fading away We should't wait We should't wait For up in this tower only dreams will stay

about

Up in a tower is a collection of four songs about separation from the real world and about the artistic creation. Inspired by the tale The Lady of Shalott by Tennyson and videogames, this album talks about isolation from the external, outer world, inside a tower upon which the artist builds and spins her dreams about life without daring to step into reality. Immersed in her illusions, the creator looks for the way out, thus she knows that the spell can only be broken by her. The world outside looks beautiful, but it is unattainable.

The identity of the insider can’t be explained so easily and it can be subject of more than one interpretation: is it split into two, or are there actually two people inside the tower? She is not alone, someone dragged her there (or maybe it was her who dragged her mate into the tower?). These two people will fight against the spell, against themselves, actually, to be able to wake up from the dream in which they travel together.

Fantasy can be a powerful weapon for the artist, but also their perdition. Imagination can be dangerously lead inwards. What keeps us confined? This tale is crying out loud for us to be brave enough to go outside and fulfill and share our creations with others in a meaningful way.
